On my home from the beach last night, I was daydreaming about how nice a ride this was gonna be on my new Savage, when a damned deer jumped out in front of me commiting suicide, and totaling out my car!. .Now, Im here to tell this cause I was in a automobile. Daydreaming while on my bike in this scenero, and I would be very dead. Anyway, it scared the crap out of me! But from now on Ive been reminded to always be alert, for anything can take you down if you dont pay attention! It would be nice to see everybodys name on this list at this time next year. Have a fun safe summer of riding, and stay alert!....ps.. the motorcycle cop at the accident said that while riding thru the mountains he always honks his horn every 1/4 mile or so for a few seconds. animals will hear you coming from along ways away.
